Has anyone ever heard of or tried, Living Music From The Heart Vol.1 For Age 6, you can find it here:

I saw this on The Waldorf Connection and am very interested, just want to hear from some users. She has a interesting article for why she believes it's better to teach young children the penny whistle instead of a recorder/pentatonic flute. And, her prices are quite reasonable!

As a professional musician, music teacher, firm believer in the importance of music education for everyone, and parent of musically gifted kids, I'm always interested in music curriculum I'm not familiar with.  :)  Especially if it's Waldorf-friendly heehee!  We actually have a penny whistle somewhere, as well as myriad other wind instruments (including a half dozen recorders lol)

 

So I'll have a closer look at this and give you my impressions when I have a chance.  :)
