Critical Thinking Company?

Has anyone ever used their resources?  I was thumbing through their catalogue I got in the mail yesterday and was intrigued.  I really liked their critical thinking activities, the math analogies, and riddles.  I also thought their Language Arts books looked fun.  Experiences?

We've used "Editor-in-Chief" books when my kids have wanted to work on recognizing and fixing errors in spelling, grammar and punctuation. They've enjoyed them. Generally thinking I find the marketing spin of the company more than a little distasteful (early academics, boosting achievement, improvements in test scores!) but I have found the EIC series in particular to be a unique way to brush up particular skills my kids want to improve.

I order from them all the time and have never been disappointed! I have been using their products for 9+ years. Some friends have used their software and said that it wasn't great, so I've stuck with the books.

I'm a math tutor and SAT coach.  I LOVE The Critical Thinking Company.  The Analogy Challenges, Think-A-Minutes, and Balance Benders are great.  My kids actually ask to do their workbooks!
