Strange pain?

I've got an appointment with my midwife tomorrow, so I'll be bringing this up then, but I tought I'd ask here to see if anyone has experienced this.  I'm pregnant with number 4 right now and I'm about 28 weeks.  For the past couple of weeks I've been having the pain that's about the size of a quarter and about an inch to the right of my belly button.  It comes and goes, at first I'd feel it every few days and it would last maybe 10-20 minutes but lately it's been happening more frequently (like 2-3 times a day) and lasting a little longer (sometimes as long as an hour).  When it happens, I can feel it no matter what I'm doing, but it gets sharp when I move at all.  It also hurts if I press on the spot.  I hope that all makes sense.  Any idea what's causing this?

I'm betting it's a spot where a ligament is attached to the abdominal wall, and it's tender because of the additional strain from your growing belly. I had these pains myself (among others). I'd try a chiropractor--mine cured all sorts of weird aches and pains.

I agree with this.  I also feel so much better after going to a chiro.  I can't believe that I didn't go in my last pregnancy, I could have spared myself a lot of waddling!  :)
