want to make a doorway curtain... I'm thinking strips of denim??

I'm always having trouble with repurposing old jeans.... I always wear mine until the crotch busts through (and beyond, lol) so making a large tote bag, for example, is out. Anyway, I want a curtain for a doorway in my place, and I thought maybe hanging strips of denim? braided? No idea. I just need something that doesn't require a sewing machine. Anyone have a pattern or tutorial to point me toward? Or should I just wing it and take pics along the way just in case it turns out decent?? Thanks!

That could look really cool. I say just cut the strips and either tack them to a board you then hang in the door way or hand sew a loop at the top of each strip to put on a pressure mount rod. Yes take pics and post when done!

You might staple gun some strips to sticks on the top and bottom and then weave strips horizontally through. I am not sure if you can get long enough pieces for the vertical length of the doorway but tied together might work as well.
