Would a 24 hour Juice Fast be a bad idea while nursing my 9mo old?

I have read mixed reviews on fasting and nursing. My son is doing Baby led weaning but still nursing a few times throughout the day, he's nine months old. I have GERD and esophagitis so bad that I know I need to allow my esophagus to heal. I was thinking of doing a 24 hour juice fast to give my digestive system a little break. But if it will detox me to the point where it threatens my milk I will have to wait. Any tips or advice on this?

I personally don't see any problems with a 24 hour juice fast. I wouldn't do any longer type fast that would cause you to lose a lot of weight too fast. That will cause too many toxins to be released into your milk. But I would go off of how you feel when you do it. If you're feeling miserable half way through, stop. I'm assuming the juice is a normal juice? Not some specially engineered cleanse?

Yea I'm thinking of drinking either only carrot juice or carrot juice, coconut water and some other type of greens drink. I actually lost alot of weight sort of fast unintentionally with this esophagitis thing :(, hope it didn't affect the milk at the time. I was eating but I just drastically changed the way I ate for a month or so.
