Looking for a VBAC doctor or Midwife in the Albuquerque area

Hello, I am currently pregnant with oue 5th baby. My first 3 were vaginal deliveries, the 4th was a c-section. I would like to find a doctor or midwife that will support a vbac. My first 3 deliveries were uncomplicated, and my last was a c-section due to an idiot doctor, and different problems at the hospital where I delivered. My last delivery was pure hell from my c-section, and my baby's stay in the nicu all from problems caused during delivery. My doctor refused to induce me a week early even tho my 2 middle children were delivered a week early with no complications. When it was time to deliver my 4th, my doctor said my baby was to big to deliver vaginally, and she was in distress so I needed an emergency c-section after 14 hours of hard labor. She was delivered, and only weighed 1 ounce more than my biggest baby-I am pretty sure I could have delivered her just fine. Anywho, I would like to find a doctor or midwife in my area that will help with a vbac. I don't even know where to start looking, or what to do.

My friend had a great experience with Dr. Larry Leeman, and I believe he is part of a UNM family practice group--and on faculty at UNM.

I'm going to PM you her actual rave of the wonderful way he handled her late dates transfer from a midwife for non-progression, and she got the vbac she wanted.

Hi I'm not sure if you have found someone nor do I know if a homebirth is right for you being that you wanted the induction. But I wouuld recommend the Rio Grande Midwifery. Amazing women.
