hi everyone...my name is Keiondra. i have been trying for several years to get pg and i havent had any luck  but this time seems very promising...from what i see i guess i start from the first day

i had unprotected sex on May 5, 2011

5/6 nothing...

5/7 faint...

5/8 sore breasts, heavier, fuller, nauseous

5/9 severe back pain, abdominal cramps, faint..

5/10 HOT!! thirsty, constipated, sore breast, senstive nips, back pain, bloated...

5/11 " " fatigue

5/12 " " white creamy cm, abdominal cramps, tugs at the belly, bloated...

5/13 all of the above plus spots of blood and blood in the cm, sore itchy nips...caught a random head cold that started out as nothing more than a stuffy nose and elevated to everything else...

5/14 faint, severe headache, back pain, emotional, nauseous , bloated, sore and itchy nips (feeling really full..but i only had chips, a donut and soda...i havent eaten since 9 am) EMOTIONAL AS HELL!! i textd my mom and sister i loved them and i cried when they called me to see why i text'd them that.......I DONT DO THAT!!

i have a hpt but ive had since 2009 and i was told its still good but im unsure..i dont really wanna take it...bc i dont want to see another BFN ...i dont want to get my hopes up but this is exactly how it was with my daughter, i had unprotected sex the night after my period went off...am i going crazy or could this really be happening?!

  Welcome to MDC! 

You've definitely got a lot of symptoms going on!  What do you mean by "faint?"  Are you actually fainting?  That's not good, please have that checked out if it continues. 

As for your dates... do you mean May or June?  I assume your LMP was May 28 and the rest of your dates are meant to be June?

Let's break this down a bit... 

CD 1 was 5/28

CD 9 you DTD

CD 13 cramping

CD 16 creamy CF

CD 17 spotting with CF

Today is CD 20.  Okay... how long are your cycles typically?  Without charting your temps it's difficult to pinpoint your ovulation day. Based on the CF you mentioned you may have O'd with spotting around CD 17.  That would make pregnancy pretty unlikely from DTD on CD 9 only.  You conceive on you O day, not the day you had unprotected sex.  It would also only make you 3 DPO today and all the symptoms you had before this would be unlikely pregnancy symptoms but more likely ovulation and pre-illness symptoms.  

If we did guess that you O'd closer to CD 9... say CD13 when you had cramping, then the spotting on CD 17 would be only 4 DPO and too early for implantation spotting.  Instead it could indicate low progesterone/fluctuating hormones.  It would put you at 7 DPO today.   Some women get accurate results as early as 8 DPO, but that's only if implantation occurs quite early.  It's really best to wait until around your missed period to test if you  don't want to see a BFN. 

For the spotting to  be implantation spotting you would have had to O around CD11, which is quite early, but not impossible.   That would put you at 9 DPO today.

As for your pregnancy test, they can last quite a long time. I believe most have a two year expiration date.  But if you bought yours in 2009 it may be expired or almost expired.  An expired test can give you false results so  I would highly recommend buying a fresh one.

So just based on the info you posted, it's really not possible to  tell where you are in your cycle, but I'm guessing somewhere between 3 and 9 DPO.   If you have an average length luteal phase then I would expect an accurate HPT and/or AF in 3-11 days.  If you can give any further information about your cycle we might  be able to narrow that  down a bit, but you can see that you might have an answer soon or you might be waiting another week and a half.
