Meeting our kids tomorrow!

After 1 year of licensing, classes, planning, preparing, waiting, praying...and 7 years of marriage desiring but struggling to be able to start a family (not infertile, but health and finances, then deciding to adopt rather than have biological children) etc etc we are meeting our kids tomorrow! Full disclosure scheduled then going straight over to meet the kids. Nervous, excited and surreal haha.

4 yr old girl and 3 and 2 yr old boys. TPR will probably be in October, though our hearts are open to concurrent planning so it will be an adventure. Big news is 9 yr old half brother was placed in another home due to acting out. He will be free for adoption if the others are, so we will be seriously considering eventually bringing him home as well.

Everything went great! The kids are beyond precious. They have been with their foster mother for 8 months and she is just wonderful and has done such a great job with them. They warmed up to us just fine =). Our little girl is a talkative one haha, the boys are younger and more shy. We just saw them yesterday but it feels like it's been a long time, I already miss them.

We have unlimited visits until everything works out to transition them home (need our state license updated to 4 kids, moving into a larger rental this week, and of course when they are comfortable). We plan to go take them to dinner Tuesday night then visit the whole day on Saturday. Such a whirlwind and so surreal!
