Homebirth Midwives Boston Area

Hi Everyone!  

I am exploring my birthing options and was wondering if anyone has any experience working with Tara Kenney and/or Audra Karp for homebirth.  If so, I'd love to hear your experiences, good or bad.  If you have any other homebirth midwives that you love around the area, I'd love to hear about them as well.

I would LOVE to have a homebirth but the only thing that is making me nervous is perhaps having to pay out-of-pocket.  I know with savvy billing, it can often be covered but it's not guaranteed.  I initially starting going to Mt Auburn and it's been ok so far (I've had to wait 30 min to an hour for appts every time) and I was concerned that I may not get the natural birth I wanted after reading some digging on the net.  Any other birthing centers or practices that anyone has had great experiences with?

I had an amazing homebirth in January with Audra and Tara!  Truly wonderful.  I highly recommend them.  Good luck!
