My 10 month old has been wheezing the last week and a half. It's not a constant thing, like for example he will stand up and making the sound with 2 breaths and then he wont do it until hours later. He doesn't seem really bothered by it, but it freaks me and my husband out. Sometimes he coughs or chokes on drool (hard to tell) and it's rare that he does this. I listened to some other babies wheezing from asthma on youtube and it didn't quite sound like how my son sounds. It almost sounds like he's doing this sound on purpose or out of excitement, like he's sucking in real quick. But I also read that they can't wheeze on purpose. *sigh* I also looked at RSV Symptoms but wouldn't he have more than just a wheezing sound with that? He has no fever, real cough or any other symptoms...I am dumbfounded! I am thinking of taking him to the pedi which he hasnt seen in 8 months just to get a check up. Advice?
