how about a raw, gluten-free, sugar-free avocado-chocolate cake? (sounds weird, but it's actually AMAZING)!

i've had raw avocado chocolate pudding before...is it like that?

maybe. but more cakey.

Yes! That does sound amazing.

So I take it you're not coming to the U.S. this fall? (Sad Beth.)

I'm not going to the US in the Fall.

<--- Sad faerie is sad.

My STBX is not actually speaking to me at the moment. Like, on the most extreme, childish level of "not speaking". Yesterday he took my cell phone just 2 minutes before he knew I had to go out to take DD to her circus class, and switched it off, and hid it. Then refused to answer me when I asked him where it is. Today, things have improved somewhat - he's deigning to communicate necessary information to me via IM on Skype, but still won't come out of his room or talk to me in person, and has stooped to getting DD to convey messages of import to me.

Mercury Retrograde at its worst, apparently. How awful!

thanks fb. hows things going for you?

Doing okay. Had some major die off symptoms for the first 5 or 6 days of this new eating plan, which is good but was extremely uncomfortable. Headaches, fatigue, sore throat, really awful heartburn...fun! It's all subsiding though. I'm also just tired and stressed. I thought I was recovered enough from my brain injury to host an exchange student but it probably wasn't the best idea. I'll get through, but I'm having to really budget my time well to make sure I get lots of sleep and make it to restorative yoga at least once a week. I feel like all I do is cook, clean, and sleep, so going to yoga feels like a huge treat.

Where did everybody go?

Oh, and mf, if you are ever able to get here you are welcome to stay with us for any length of time. treehugger.gif If I know dates I'll just let the school know we can't take an exchange student then.

okay, but I might have to be kicked out... I've become a total knee-sock wearer :o

Not only am I totally loving my rainbow knee-socks, I saw these awesomely cute socks yesterday and just *had* to get them - they're green knee socks with these totally cute little ladybirds and vines all over them.

I may or may not have bought several pair of knee socks last fall...2whistle.gif

Wasn't the rule changed to only fun, funky knee socks????

it was, but I'm an old-school purist. though I suppose, not any more :lol

Yee, I used to wear kneesocks to Catholic school, along with my plaid skirt and red cardigan sweater. It might take really super cute ones to convert me to wear them.

I wish I could say I was a hot Catholic school girl, but man, those things were frumpy!

I'm sure you were hot regardless
