nursing swimwear

I've found some online, but would really like to go somewhere and try things on.

Does anyone know of any stores that may carry swimwear that I can nurse in?

Does anyone have tips on what may work?

I would wear what I have except it doesn't fit, and I would feel uncomfortable chasing and playing with my toddler in a tiny bikini.

Also I wouldn't mind covering more of by hot mama body. I remember my grandma having a bathing suit with a skirt, a slightly more stylish version of that would be fantastic.

I have never seen a nursing swimsuit available to try on in a store and I live in Hawaii, where like, every store sells suits! Anyway, I have a Motherwear two piece tankini, but it is not that great. The panels snap open with tiny metal snaps, which are impossible to do one-handed and I end up pulling my breast through the panel anyway, because my son can't seem to get a good latch with just the nipple poking through. Snapping it closed is a nightmare and the snaps are not sewn on well and are pulling loose already. So I have a regular Land's End tank swim suit that I just pull the side he's nursing on down and it works pretty much as well as the nursing suit. Sorry I don't have better news for you!

Personally, I've never had a problem nursing in a regular swim suit. I just pull it down in front and nurse. If your old suit doesn't fit, just find any suit that you like that seems easy enough to pull down.

Thank you for your reply. That is actually really helpful.

Today after lots more internet searching I started to think maybe getting a regular suit that I can pull aside may be an option.

I wear shelf tanks instead of nursing bras and was worried the nursing swim suits would be to complicated.

You've pretty much confirmed my assumptions.
