DD(6) had her pre-evaluation yesterday, we both loved the tester, and thankfully he is really supportive of our lifestyle choices. Based on the test he gave her, it was a computer game type test don't remember the name, he is thinking dd is a high functioning aspie, possibly with adhd, and definite sensory issues but we won't be sure until all the testing is done. We are hs'ers, in a state with mandatory testing and were very worried about that, but thankfully the tester thinks she'll do fine with testing.
I've known this was coming for so long, it's kind of a relief to finally have a doctor see what I am seeing(we've been to 2 other doctors who said she was perfectly normal), but it still hurts a little.
