New to TTC.

Hi all!

Wondering if I can join your ranks?

My name's Nana, I'm 21 years old and recently moved to N. Texas all the way from NY to be with my husband.  I'm hoping to have a big family like the one I came from (okay, okay maybe not that big lol) but I'm new to the world of TTC.  I got an account on fertilityfriend.com today and am muddling my way through it.

I'm taking the Intro to Fertility Charting quiz as well as watching the Ovulation Tracking and Fertility Charting tutorial so I can figure this thing out.  It's somewhat surreal just because I've been around pregnancy and childbirth my whole life, as I've got 15 brothers and sisters and now entering into the prospect of getting pregnant myself feel as though I know nothing about it which is somewhat embarrassing and I feel kinda behind.  Had to send my husband out to get a thermometer a few moments ago actually haha. But anyways if you have an tips, tricks or advice I'm all ears!  Thanks in advance!

I would highly recommend reading Taking Charge of Your Fertility in combination with the online tutorial that Fertility Friend offers.  Really there is so much interesting stuff to learn and FF barely touches on most of it.  Also, I have found you cannot always trust FF's assessment of what is going on with your cycle so it really helps to have a foundation of information to make your own educated guess.  Of course, the helpful women of MDC will be happy to help you decipher your charts as well.  If you have charting questions, just post!  winky.gif

Thanks for the welcome! :D

I'll definitely look into reading Taking Charge of Your Fertility - library day is tomorrow lol!  biggrinbounce.gif

I'm taking the Charting Course on FF.com but I watched all the Videos.  I'm on Lesson 4.  I'm taking notes too, which makes the process so much longer but I learn better having everything written down.  Anyways I plan to start charting when I get my period which should be in a couple days so I may have a lot of questions in the next couple weeks!
