MY IUD CAME OUT TODAY AFTER ONLY 2 MONTHS!!!!

I'm mad!!! I was peeing, lol....and I passed 3 large clots,(sorry for being so graphic lol) the first one hurt and I was like WTW???, why would it hurt, but when I examined the clots low and behold, there lie my durn IUD in the bottom of the toilet!!! Heck, that's where the pain came from!!!!...How could that happen??? Why does it happen??? I'm wondering if my cervix entrance is too wide to hold it in from having 4 kids????? I just hope I can get another one!!!

That sucks. I hope you didn't have to pay for it out of pocket (though I think most doctors will insert a new one free of charge).

What happened to you is pretty common, or at least, not abnormal. I've heard that IUDs have an expulsion rate somewhere between 2 - 10 percent.

I'd give it another try. I really love my IUD -- best birth control method I've ever had.
