How early did you start feeling movement?

Ok, I'll be the first to admit that in the past when I've heard women say they feel their babies way early my first thought has been "it's just gas!!" lol.gif But now I'm eating up a serving of humble pie because I think I can feel my baby at just almost 13 weeks!!

For the past week, about once or twice a day, I've felt this sensation kind of like a bubble popping or a little squirmy wormy feeling on the left side behind my pubic line. I usually feel it when I'm leaning over or squatting to get something, so when I'm putting some pressure on that area. Now I've had the phantom baby kicks (gas) forever, but they always feel like a series of farty bubbles, like several in a row... never just a quick pop like this, and definitely not the squirmy feeling... But anyway, before yesterday I just assumed they were gas, because well... I'm not thin, and I just assumed it was too early! But yesterday I had an ultrasound because we couldn't find the baby's HB on the doppler, and it turned out he/she was burrowed nice and deep in the exact area I'm feeling these sensations!

If it is, I wonder if that means I'll feel the real obvious stuff sooner? Or maybe it's just because he/she is still in a tight area. Either way, it's way cool and just the thought that I might be feeling the baby already just makes me love.gif

From the second baby onward it was late first trimester/early second for me.

1st: 17 weeks

2nd: 14 weeks

3rd: 12 weeks

You're not crazy!  There are some women in my DDC that said they felt movement as early as 8 weeks!

I kept *thinking* I was feeling movement, as early as 13 weeks I think, but didn't feel anything definite until the day I hit 20 weeks. Then again this is my first so I probably just wasn't sure of what I was feeling back then...

With my first: 17-18 weeks

With my this baby: 15 weeks

I tend to have anterior placentas, too, which are supposed to make it harder to feel movement, so I imagine if your placenta wasn't in the front and you were tuned in with your body and baby you could potentially feel it much earlier.

This is my first, and I thought I started feeling it around 15 weeks.  Wasn't sure that's what I was feeling until I could see it on the U/S at 17 weeks and feel it at the same time.  So I defiintely don't think you are crazy for feeling movement early, especially if this is your second baby.
