I am dry but she still feeds all the time at night!

I am 29 weeks pregnant and haven't had any milk for well over a month. My 18 month old who cosleeps with us still nurses to sleep, and every time she wakes at night. I like the idea of tandem nursing, BUT am thinking nursing 2 cosleepers during the night will be too much.

Do you think using the pop off just before sleep method would help cut down her night nursing? She also nurses the last hour or so before she wakes. If I don't she gets up WAYYY earlier. If she's able to stay attached to my nipple I usually get an extra hour or even two dozing in bed.

Help would be so appreciated. I am starting to hit the uncomfortable at night periods late in pregnancy and it's really getting to me how interrupted my sleep is.

Thanks

I am a couple weeks behind you in pregnancy and have been dry for quite a while now too. My DS is older (26 mos), but I started offering a drink and food during his night wakeups and he's stopped asking for "boo boos" during the night tho we still nurse as part of his night routine. I was super surprised at how easily he gave it up--i think bc he was just comfort sucking anyway it was easier. I'd definitely try the pop-off method if your Lo will tolerate it. I say whatever is going to get you more sleep at this point!
