Feeling wonky..exercise or rest?

Thread Starter

Ive been feeling really weak and wonky anytime I exercise this past week, though I'm otherwise fine. It could be that I'm getting over a bug (I developed very mild shingles 2 weeks ago), or that my body chemistry has gone all screwy again (amongst other fun things, I have PCOS and low blood pressure; my bp has definitely dropped again). With my day to day stuff I feel pretty darn normal, but if I do anything even remotely strenuous I get dizzy and shaky pretty fast.

So push through it or rest?

REST. Deep restorative rest, like Savasana - corpse pose in yoga (lie down with your arms at your sides, palms face up), with a covering over your eyes. At least 15-20 min daily.

Your body is sending you clear messages - good for you for listening. :)

Dizziness and feeling weak when exercising are two symptoms of overtraining.  Rest.
