Hello Mamas,

 

I'm trying to get a good fit for DS who is 4.5 yrs old and still in diapers at night.  After much research, I think that Happy Heiny's are our best option. I ordered the XXL because he needs the rise (4 inches dif in the XL and XXL and only 1 inch dif in L and XL).  He is at 38 lbs and the XL goes to 40 lbs and the XXL starts at 40 lbs, so that is why I ordered the XXL.

 

The waist is too big on the XXL so i was wondering if anyone has any ideas or experience with making the waist smaller on these?  Maybe somehow sewing extra velcro to overlap like some one size diapers do or maybe someone knows of some type of velcro attachment that can be put on them to make them smaller.  I think I have seen extenders but no "shrinkers".
