Okay, I give up, please move me to WTF is Going On. At this point ovulation is a distant dream. This craziness is dragging on into week 3 and my very well-trained doctors don't even know WTF is going on, let alone me. I did have an u/s yesterday and it wasn't definitive. It couldn't establish intrauterine pregnancy (although a few things were suggestive) nor did it find anything at all indicative of ectopic. I have a repeat u/s tomorrow. Unless there is medical evidence of ectopic I am going to refuse methotrexate, and I strongly prefer to avoid any surgical interventions if possible. So who knows when this miserable experience will end. The goal-posts keep getting moved and that is causing me so much anxiety. I think I'll have an answer the next doctor's visit and then it's "let's wait and see what the next test reveals."

Sorry to hear that AF found so many of you guys. Usually June is one of my favorite times of year, but this one...not so much, huh? What's up with this June?

Sourire, I am so happy and relieved for you! Yay!

Sila, according to the medical degree I am current working on at the University of Google, I think it's low DHEA that is far more concerning. Do you know what the reference range is for the lab that did your b/w? (It should say on the report - you can ask for a copy if your doctor didn't give you one, even though sometimes doctors will kvetch about giving it to you.) If your number is way above the range, personally I would seek answers from an endocrinologist. Most will take weeks or months to even have an appointment so call now and make one if you're concerned. You can always cancel it if your OB figures it out first to your satisfaction. You might also want to ask if it's one of those hormones that fluctuates and is hard to get a good read on from one test. But, I imagine it's not something to worry about. I just love answers (as you might have guessed) so I kinda demand them for everything. Lucky for me my scientist dad knows a lot of MDs so he just passes on my crazy questions to them. It's wonderful news that all your other levels are normal!

Cygknit, I ordered my cheapie opks and hpts from Amazon. They look totally sketchy - they're supposed to be wondfo brand but don't have any brand name written on them or any instructions beyond "dip 3 minutes" and a little how-to-read illustration. And if you read the reviews, you'll see lots of people who hate them. But they have worked GREAT for me (both opks and hpts), cost under USD10 for 50, and since I have Amazon Prime, arrive at my house 48 hours after I order without shipping charge. I have found them totally non-ambiguous. Clear positives or negatives. The only evap lines I ever had were right after my hpt trigger shot, so those were actually likely to be very, very small trace amounts of hcg, in retrospect. They are sensitive tests, supposedly 25 mIU but I actually think they detect at lower levels than that.
