I have a similar question to others on the "I'm Pregnant" thread. I was prescribed a series of coffee enemas to cleanse my liver before I realized I was pregnant. I did one and then found out I was pregnant. Â The doctor said I could continue, 1/day, and it would support my liver (in which I'd been having shooting pains, because of digestion issues and because I was drinking a bit more coffee (two cups, but it was a lot for my smallish frame and constitution). I did not know I was pregnant and could not figure out why I was so scatter brained and forgetful.Â
So Sonitaw, I'd really like to know how your experience went with the coffee enema. It seemed to me it was really doing a good job of getting my liver to cleanse itself. But I don't want to risk my growing fetus. Although that little has already survived alot: plenty of forbidden yoga postures I was doing to get my digestion going, teas and herbs I should not have been taking. I'm a bit anxious because I want my digestion to go back to the swift effective system I had during my pregnancy with my first child, so I cant make sure we're all getting enough nutrition this time around.
Â
Thanks in advance for your wisdom.
