boulder, CO questions

moving from breckenridge to Boulder August 1st.  any info on the following questions:

1.  decision to make with our 7th grader - manhattan or centennial - any opinions?

2.  i think my 5th grader will be going to crestview - any opinions on that school?

3.  need a good holistic doctor recommendation for me and my girls and my husband.  thoughts?  i like a doctor who is smart, will answer all of my questions - and i always have a lot, who is knowledgeable about alternative, as well as western, ways of treating illness and who cares about WHY i have a condition - not just what drug to treat it with.  

anything else you would like to tell me about boulder.

I was coming to post a similar "Please tell me about Boulder" question. Anyone? We won't be moving until this time next year. My son will be in 2nd grade. Schools? Doctors?

Wow, I wish I had seen this sooner, by now your kids are in school. My DS is a 6th grader at Centennial and was at Crestview for 5th grade. Centennial is our neighborhood school, although it wasn't our first choice, Summit was, but my DS didn't get in. So far he is enjoying Centennial. We chose it over Manhattan, even though his best friend and several kids from his previous school (previous to Crestview) have gone there because we need to get out of Boulder four days a week and make it to Denver by five for soccer practice, so Centennial ended up being the easiest option. DS really enjoyed Crestview, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

We really don't do doctors, but my son is registered with Dr Paul Berger, who would probably fit your requirements.

All in all we love living in Boulder, have been here 14 years. I hope you have settled in and are enjoying CO.
