My daughter loves to draw, paint, do stickers, use clay, etc... and all the supplies are threatening to take over the house. I need help figuring out how to keep it all organized and neat, but still easy for my daughter to get what she needs. Any ideas? I'd love to see pictures!

This is how we do it. We use these boxes from Ikea and stack them on a shelf in the living room. We use the 9x7x3 size with the dividers removed. It is perfect for my 4 year old as she can open and close them by herself, which was one of my main criteria. I also wanted something clear so she could identify what was in each box visual as she doesn't yet read. I'll try to take a picture later.

I have to say I love these boxes so much I reorganized my entire sewing studio and love the results. Highly recommended for adults and kids!

Our art table is next to a bookshelf in our living area. We have some muted color bins that make good use of the space. One bin is devoted to all things play clay. We also have one smaller hinged bin for little pieces. The other has most other art supplies that are "available." Expensive stuff or that which requires special oversight or help is elsewhere. We also have very large sheets of drawing. Some of the prettier art supplies are often left out as semi-decoration or set up to encourage use. The kids will make a bee line towards any project that is set up.
We have an art center with drawers, bins and boxes for all of our supplies. My kids have free reign to use anything in the art center whenever they please. It is similar to the shelving used to organize scrapbook supplies with slots to hold paper and coloring books etc... The crayons and markers each have their own boxes that get lugged around the house and I have plastic cups with scissors, glue sticks and colored pencils sitting out on the art table.
