So I have know for about 12 yrs that I needed my wisdom teeth removed but since they rarely bugged me I have put it off. Well now they are pushing my teeth out of alignment and hurt pretty bad regularly. Then today I wake up with a lot of pressure and it feels like I have a piece of food stuck so I try to floss and I can't get the floss in there. I shredded the floss in half trying. : (

I am scared about the procedure, I don't want to be knocked out but they are impacted. I have never been knocked out. Also DH can't really take time off of work to help with the kids 11yrs, 4 yrs and almost 3yrs. I am nursing the 3yo still as well. The 11yo can be a BIG help but you know how siblings can be after a long time of big sis being in charge.

I am also scared of the cost after insurance. I called them today and our deductible is $2000 and so I will be paying for it out of pocket??? The insurance lady said that we pay the first $2000 and then they cover! EEK I called the oral surgeon and they said it is between 1700 and 1900 for all 4 teeth. That does not seem right. Why am I even paying for dental insurance!Â

Ugh anything that will help me calm down about all of this would be welcomed!
