*How long it took you to get your BFP: Our first pregnancy ended as a m/c in May. This is our first cycle since then and we are pregnant.

*Family (partner, other children, pets): DH and I married in April 2011 and we have two dogs, a german shepherd and a chihuahua, who are our first babies

*Birth plans/preferences: I want a natural birth at a birth center - but due to insurance policies, it will most likely be at a hospital with a doula

*How long it took you to get your BFP: We tried 13 months, got pregnant, and then miscarried at 6w1d. I got pregnant the cycle after, so it has been about 15 months of trying.

*What number child is this for you: 2

*Family (partner, other children, pets): My husband and daughter, and we've also got a growing flock of chickens and a rabbit.

*Birth plans/preferences: Would like a natural birth, but we'll have to see how my autoimmune/neuro issues are doing closer to delivery. I may end up with a repeat c-section, but hope to avoid one.

*Thoughts / anything else you you would like to share: I had an unmedicated birth with my daughter but it felt traumatic--it was long and very painful (back labor). I am hoping to have a better birth experience this time. I'm planning to check out Hypnobirthing and other methods of relaxation.

really stressed about multiples. My guys are identical so i have an increased risk of that again, fraternal twins run in the family and DH keeps saying it has to be only one because he thinks we can't handle multiples again, not with already having what will be two 3.5 year olds at birth. I feel like as long as it is only twins we will be fine because they will be SO MUCH OLDER at this age they are so drastically different than even a few months ago so I imagine that in 8 months they will be even more awesome and independent but hopefully better at listening to directions.

We can do it Cellist! We just have to try and remaind positive and I'll hope for just one little bean at my check on the 27th.

biffer, I have no good reason to believe it's twins.  They don't run in our family...BUT my husband and I independently, right about the time we were getting married almost 6 years ago had a weird intuition we might have twins someday.  And the psychic I went to in May said I wouldn't have to wait long to get pregnant, but it "isn't decided yet" whether it would be one or two!  Ack.
