Just found out I was preggers :-)

Hi everyone, I just found out I am pregnant for the first time! A little freaked out but sooo happy. We just started trying last month and never expected it to happen so fast :-) I have a question for ya'll, I have taken 4 HPT's all positive yet today I feel cramps.. insanely moody and thought I had actually started my period at work.. ( you know the feeling like you may start bleeding) are these fairly normal issues? My period is 3 days late and all those positive tests make me think I am definitely preggers, but just so strange feeling like I should start. Forgive my naieve-ness... Just not sure, and am not able to get to doctor til next week... Incredibly impatient. Thank you for your help in advance :-)

I am new to the forum too and found out I was pregnant just 3 days back. I am having similar doubts like you. I took only one test after I missed my period and it came positive. But now since the past two three days I have been getting cramps. Not too bad but just a little annoying. And I also had a slight spotting.

I did some research on the internet and it seems that these cramps are normal. In fact some people might have it throughout their pregnancy. Its because your uterus it expanding to accommodate your baby in the future. And if you have a little spotting don't worry about that too. Its because the amniotic sac roots into your uterus walls and you might see spotting.

I hope I have given you some assurance. Its exciting to know someone has conceived at same time as me. Yey! We both might deliver at about the same time.
