Possible to install a Radian in a 2002 Toyota Sequoia?

Thread Starter
We are trying to install a Radian 80SL in the center of the 2nd row of a 2002 Toyota Sequoia, forward-facing. My DH is having a terrible time getting it done and we are not sure if it is the car itself that is the issue or if we are doing something wrong. Has anyone done this and have any hints??

I would love to take the car to an inspection center for help, but the closest one is 45 minutes away and only open on the weekend, and I am 38 weeks pregnant and afraid I will have the baby before we can get this done. (and before anyone asks, LOL, my DD was in the hospital for the last 3 weeks and we JUST got home, which is why we haven't tackled this problem sooner!! wink1.gif )

Thanks!!

This carseat forum has an entire  thread dedicated to successful Radian installs.

I've only ever put mine in a large variety of Ford vehicles w/o a problem, so I can't speak to the specifics of installing one in a Toyota, but if you go to that link, you can search for your vehicle (use the 'search this thread' tool just above the first post).
