Favorite art books for toddlers?

I'm looking for a book that will give me ideas about helping my toddler have some creative "art" time.  Does anyone have any favorite books?  I'd like something that focuses on very open ended sorts of art play and isn't focused on making particular projects or items.

recommending an old old oldie-- bev bos- don't move the muffin tins.

we have first art, too, and it has lots of different things to try.  it's a nice one. maryann kohl, the author, actually has a few art books but first art is for littles and the only one i have seen firsthand.

have you seen the blog the artful parent?  they're always doing something very different there, lots of good ideas from that mama.

I *highly* recommend Young At Art by Susan Striker. I love this book--it is developmentally appropriate, and has really good details about each stage of development.  It is also great in that is focuses on developing artistic exploration and ability, but does not push crafts.

Every parent of toddlers should read this book!

You might want to check out Meg McElwee's blog post about toddler art: http://sewliberated.typepad.com/sew_liberated/2010/07/toddler-art-experiences.html

She talks about a book First Art : Art Experiences for Toddlers and Twos. Her blog is amazing!

I was going to suggest the blogs already posted and the book First Art.

There are tons of more great art blogs out there that really inspire me, unfortunately I cannot think of a name right now.
