successful VBAC after 42 weeks?

Has anyone had a successful VBAC after 42 weeks? 

I am 41w3d and still waiting for this little one to make her appearance.  She is in no hurry.  So now I have my midwife, dr, family all telling me that if she does not come by Monday (42 weeks exactly) I should check myself into the hospital and have a scheduled section on Tuesday. 

Had a scan and NST on Tuesday of this week (41w1d) and everything was great.  Baby and I are doing well. 

I have fought so hard for the chance of a VBAC the thought of another section is already beyond depressing.....I am scared how I am going to handle going through all of that again emotionally.  (DS was a scheduled section for breech.)

DD2 was born (HBAC) at 41w5d.  Personally, if everything checked out, I would go for it.

I just had a successful VBAC at 42 +1.  (As in earlier this week....I will be posting a birth story later.) It can be done....regardless my doctor had many more tricks they were going to attempt before scheduling a section.  I don't understand why they aren't giving you any other options...

I hope you have gone into labor already, but if everything was alright with the NST and me I wouldn't go for a ERCS just b/c I was exactly 42 weeks.

Have patience momma, no one is pregnant forever.  I know a few women on the ICAN yahoo list that went 42+ with their VBACs.

My first VBAC was at 42w5d; my second this year was just about 42w. Both were homebirths, and everything was just fine. :)

My primary VBAC was at 41weeks 4days, my second VBAC at 40weeks 4days, my third VBAC at 42weeks 5days and my fourth VBAC was at 41 weeks 4days. Some mamas are just meant to carry babies longer. :)
