My son at 11 born with a cleft, have still speech problems.
He is regulary visiting speech therapists, and my experience is that the systematic training at home at sounds recommended by therapist is the right way. (If you not could afford a therapist - start with sounds that are close to OK. Do not end up with repeating sounds totally wrong.)
To make him hear his own pronouncement I made a software. This have an editor for making your own lessons, so it may match any language. See http://threee.no if you want to try it.
My software are quite boring to use, so does any one have links to other totally free softwares that could be adated to actual sounds?
