VBA2C

Thread Starter

I am currently 20wks pregnant with my third child....my first two pregnancies ended in c-section, first was an emergency due to severe high blood pressure which although it was not what I envisioned I knew it was necessary in that situation. My second c-section was purely out of convenience for the OB they practically scared my husband and I into going along with it and it was over with before either one of us had time to process what was going on. I am determined to give birth to my third child the way my body is supposed to. I have a doula and will be starting the bradley method classes this weekend but finding an OB has been very frustrating. My dream would be to have a home birth; Does anybody know of a midwife or OB who is okay with a VBA2C?

Welcome to MDC!  I'm sure it has been frustrating trying to find a supportive provider.

If you are comfortable sharing your general location, that would be helpful in making possible recommendations.  If not, I would highly suggest contacting/joining your local ICAN group for help finding a provider. If you do not have a local group, many mamas speak highly of the ICAN Yahoo group.

I know there are several mamas on here who have had successful VBA2C's.....dig around and I'm sure you will find many inspiring birth stories.  Good Luck mama!!!
