I am considering getting a food dehydrator. I do not want a plastic one that will blow BPA onto my food. I am trying to find a comparison of the stainless steel dehydrators. Anyone have any experience? Also, anyone know if chrome plated shelves have any health problems? The ones with stainless steel shelves seem to be a lot more expensive.Â

Any good ideas for stuff to dehydrate? I'm thinking I'd like to make almond crackers, maybe raisins, apple slices.Â
