We're Changing Colors!

Is everyone ready for a color change? We know the whiteness has been an eyestrain and you have voiced your complaints about it since last year. We're so sorry for the delay   but we are finally ready and able to move forward with a change. We want this to be a community decision so we need your input!

Here are the color treatment choice options. Please vote in the poll for your favorite one. You can click on any image to see it in a larger size and then click through to see each with the arrow.

Once we narrow down to the favorite color treatment we'll work on the white background to match.

The poll will be open for two weeks so please vote by July 15th.

#1 Limey with Purple

#2 Lemon with Purple

#3 Browntown with Green

#4 Dundun with Purple

this- as someone with vision issues, the inability to choose skins is very limiting to say the least.

*most* other chat boards I frequent have the ability to change skins.

I'll be the voice of opposition - I don't like the brown at all. Brown is a color I typically do like, but I don't know, the message board option just is completely unappealing to me.

Took me forever to even notice a difference.  I like #2 after I zoomed out in my browser and could see the subtle changes in the colors.

I voted for 3, only because it seems to have the darkest background color. Stupid eye floaters. I'm one of those who would use a black background if it was an option, like I do on Wikipedia.

To be honest, I can barely see any difference between those choices. Even compared to what is currently in place.

So, my vote is for option #5 (not available in the poll): indifferent.

Or option #6 (also not available in the poll): none of these.

Ditto.

I don't really like any of them - I too would use a black or even medium/dark blue background, also for vision problems. But #3 is the darkest so it gets my vote, even though I detest brown.
