Do student loan's count as income for food stamps in West Virginia?

My DH is going to school full time in the fall and I am just trying to find out if these loans will hurt us when we go for our food stamp review in August.. Thanks!

Student loans aren't considered income. If you receive grants, those may be.

 

Basically, they can't ask you to take on debt in order to buy food.
