DD has been drinking raw goats milk for well over a month now. While I was still Breastfeeding her she would have probably 4 to 8 ounces tops per day, and about the same, maybe a little more breastmilk. When I quit bfing her, I started giving her more of the milk, she drinks  around 12 ouces a day now.
I stopped bfing 14 days ago.
5 days after I stopped bfing I gave her a small amount of cod liver oil for its DHA and vitamin D since we did not go outside that day.
The next day she got diarrhea, she pooped about every hour or 2 and it was usually very runny and she had less of an appetite, and the night after that she had a low (100 degrees) fever and woke up a lot to drink water. the next morning she was kindof crabby and her fever went away around 10am.  Â
Since that first day she has had diarrhea(its been 7 days), although it is not as bad as it was the first day. Now she probably poops about 5 times a day, and it is not always really runny. Her food does not stay in her for more than 5 hours, and she poops out undigested food, even pieces of applesauce and spinach.
I took her to a nurse practitioner who does her well child checks. She looked her over, I gave her the above info, and she said it was probably just something viral and it would pass and that I was just an overly concerned first time mom. She said she didnt think it could be bacterial or a parasite because DD would be EXTREMELY sick(I dont know if this is always the case?)
So I am wondering if anyone has any idea what this could be or what could help her? She eats Stonyfield baby or toddler yogurt every day and eats a very healthy diet of organic fruits and veggies, whole grains, some meat(although not every day), she has about a tbsp of ground flax seed every day... So its not that she is unhealthy, actually she never gets sick so that is why I am so worried. I also worry that she is not getting the nutrients she needs because its going through her so fast.
Our whole family including myself all eat and drink the same things so its not that something is bad, and there is not a single person in her fathers family or mine who has any type of food allergy or intolerance so I dont think its that either.
Please tell me what you think
Thanks!
