I used to come to the Mothering Forums a few years ago to read and learn and then my life took some huge shifts and now, here I am!  I am really excited to finally be at a place in my life where I'm trying to have a baby!  Yay!  I just married my soul mate  and love of my life 3 months ago and we started trying to have a baby right away.  And, this is my first month charting my cycle, etc, and it's all quite confusing to me so I'm looking forward to support from the women here.  I also am a step-mom to a very sweet 5 year old boy.  Lots of big changes!  All wonderful though

A little about me...  I am a nurse and I spend most of my time working in maternal/child health, so mothering is obviously my passion!  Can't wait to finally do it myself!  I also teach yoga and am very interested in natural health.  I'm a Reiki practioner, massage practioner, doula, and lactation counselor.  I guess that's it for now!  Looking forward to meeting people here!

Oh, and, my screen name is the nickname my step-son gave me. He calls me "Jessimaca" and now my hubby does too sometimes
