Any recs on a SA at home kit?  I see a few on Amazon or can you just buy them at the drugstore?

TIA!

There was an article that mentioned them in Men's Health Magazine...but I can't find it online anywhere...a podcast I listen to mention it. As far SA's go I think what is most important is finding someone that can accurately give you the details of the results. Though DH and I have no SA experience yet. I have also heard that even without insurance an SA is often the cheapest fertility test you can have done (as well as the easiest, besides blood work) and is often one of the first tests most Drs will do.

Yes, thanks.  After I bumped I did a forum search (hate the search function with this new forum software) and saw the same thoughts.  I also saw that a doc will give an order for DH without him being at the appt which was my main concern (us being able to schedule a first appt together due to his busy work schedule).

Good I'm glad you were able to do some research. I'm sure you read this, but also make sure to have your DH "practice" not only for practice, but also because I have heard if the sperm are to crammed (from not ejaculating for a long time) it can have an effect on the results. Best of luck!!! If you do find out his results are poor I have read great things about acupuncture increasing motility and function! This is the route we are taking (even though DH hasn't done an SA).
