Who's watching Falling Skies?

DH and I are really enjoying this new show on TNT Sunday nights.  It stars Noah Wylie.  I know he was in ER, but I didn't watch that.

DH and I were really excited when the new "V" started because we had both loved the miniseries as kids.  The new show was such a huge disappointment.  THIS show is what V should have been.

Background:  There has been an alien invasion and this show follows a group of survivors/resistance fighters.  The aliens seem to kill all the adults and keep kids as these sort of mind controlled slaves.  They did not show the actual start of the invasion or anything like that, which I find really interesting. The show started in the middle of a raid to get food, months after the aliens arrived.

I'm hoping others are watching.

My son and i just started, we watched the pilot so far. I like it. Its kind of like Walking Dead, plus aliens, minus zombies.

We have been watching it and enjoying it so far.  Seems like a bit of a mix between V and War of the Worlds.  I have never been a huge Noah Wylie fan, but really like him in this role.  He makes a great on-screen daddy.

I read that it has been picked up for a second season.  Also, it is currently TNT's highest rated show. 

DH and I are happy because so many shows we've enjoyed get canceled way too soon!

I like it even though I worry about the writing. The last episode or two had plot holes big enough to drive through!

Despite not liking Noah Wylie, I have really been enjoying this show so far.  I wonder if and how they are going to keep in going with out it getting lame or ridiculous though.  But for now I am liking it a lot.  It's like a really long movie that I get to see an hour of every week.  It doesn't feel so much like a tv show and I like that.
