What is this?

I have had pain in my breasts for 5 weeks now.  Ever since my milk came it.  It has only gotten worse.  I have asked my midwives and they aren't sure.  I thought maybe someone on here may know???

My skin all over my breasts feels like a sunburn.  The inside of my breasts hurt too.  They are very tender and I don't want anyone touching them.  (Other than baby of course)

I thought maybe yeast but nothing has worked.  I have tried GSE, Newman nipple cream, fluconozole, vinegar on breasts, gentian violet...  Nothing has worked.  It isn't just the nipple but the whole breast.  Letdowns actually hurt now.

I want to have a normal breastfeeding relationship with my daughter but I am not enjoying this.  I will plow through but I just want the pain gone.  I get twinges of pain as well.  I have no other symptoms of yeast and no symptoms of mastitis.

Any ideas?

I have an appointment with my midwife next week but I would love to get it gone before that.  It does feel like a burning feeling I guess.

Thanks!

I feel king of like that when I'm engorged. I had pretty bad oversupply for the first few weeks with my second and I would describe it like that. massaging the breasts in a warm shower really helped, and I've heard really good things about cabbage leaves.
