curly hair help needed! can it really survive a week without brushing? - Page 2

We either spritz with some water or if it's really messy, use California Baby detangler.

Putting in some coconut oil for that first week should help.

My dd's hair is sort of curly, like ringlets at the ends, and I brush it with a regular brush. I spray it to soaked or after a bath and the curls re-form when it dries.

I had no idea you arent supposed to brush curly hair! Now I am thinking its my fault my DS hates having anyone get near his hairgreensad.gif

My DH and I both have super staight hair, so I dont know any of this.

I rarely wash his hair, because I dont wash my own that often. I do put argan oil in his though, especially in the back where it mats up really bad.

My DS has very fine, blonde hair that curls into loose ringlets. I cant bring myself to cut it. I'm going to stop brushing though, or maybe look into finding that tangleteaser.
