Anyone have a really low baby?

I havent checked in lately.Im 31w 3 days ish I know there are 2 other SPD thread but Im wondering does anyone have a baby that is fully engaged? I shocked my MW last appointment ( 28? weeks) that the baby was head down and engaged ( id say -1 ish ) now my 2nd DD did this but after 30 weeks. This baby was locked and loaded at 25w.

The appointment before she talk about a chiro and said I likely had SPD. I had no idea it had a name. But as low as the baby's head is will it really help? She was thinking it may not just because my issue is caused by the head of the baby pressing.

Guess I just need to see if anyone else has a low baby and feels this way I don't know. wild.gif

This baby is high, her butt is up in my stomach. But my son was really low, he felt like he was going to fall out for the last 2 months!

This baby is lower than my son ever was, but she's not engaged (yet). But the closest he ever got was maybe -1, and that was in labor. (Obv. I ended up w/ a c-section) turns out his head was stuck in my right pelvic bone.

I have been doing chiro since having him, and have continued while pregnant, and I think that has helped enormously - both with the pain/discomforts of pregnancy and baby being in a better position. I did have bad hip pain, but don't now. I mean, sometimes I do get achy, but I was getting sharp, I can't move, sort of pain. Also he has a massage therapist on staff who is well experienced in prenatal massage and between the two of them, it has helped a lot. I definitely recommend the chiro if you can find a good one!

This baby is very low, I am feeling lots of pressure in my whole vaginal area, especially when I am on the toilet or try to sit straight up from a lying position(which of course doesn't happen too often these days). I don't know exactly how low but I can definately feel it on my cervix. Sometimes I wear a belly belt to hold up some of my belly, it does help. It doesn't help with my SPD but all the rest of it. My cervix is closed as normal. I don't feel a low baby causes SPD, but it may make the sensations worse.

Thanks for the insight! I checked myself and the head is right on my public bone like my last DD. SO about 1" up if I insert my finger is the bottom of the head. Not sure how a chiro will help but im going to call around monday and see. So I guess from the pictures ive looked at on the web the head is -1 or close to 0? My cervix though is way up behind its back. I was 42 weeks with both girls and my last I know was this low but not as early. Oh my.
