We did it!! Welcom, Kerstin!!!

Well, we did it!  We made it to 38 weeks and 6 days and welcomed Kerstin Anneliese into our family July 6, 2011 at 6:25 am!  She was born completely in the sack, and it was the weirdest birth ever, but it was easy, quick, and at home with my wonderful DH and our kids.

She weighed 7lbs 2oz and is 19.5 inches long.  A giant after my preemies!  I feel a MILLION times better physically than my other births (even though they were natural, unmedicated...) and TEN MILLION times better emotionally.  I would NEVER do another hospital birth if I could help it...

Can put up our story later, right now baby is hungry so I'm off to feed!

Congrats! Aren't babies born in the sac supposed to have the gift of second sight, traditionally? Whether you believe in that or not, I'm sure she is a very special little girl. So glad everything went so well!

Wow, I always wanted to have one completely in the sac, that is so cool!  My last two almost made it, with my water breaking when they were crowning.  Congrats on your baby girl!
