Feb 2011 babies... What's new?

I discovered MDC after I had DS so I didn't get to meet a DDC, but I'd love to chat about our babes! This is such an exciting time with teething, rolling, creeping and whatnot. How quickly time flies!

I'll chime in here as I totally agree that this is such an exciting time! My darling girl has finally figured out how to roll from tummy to back (she's been going back to tummy for about 6 weeks now, with the end result being her stuck with her face on the floor, so now she can at least free herself). Now she really wants to start creeping on her belly but can't seem to figure out how to get her midsection in the air (which results in a ridiculously cute butt-in-the-air downward dog type pose). She's been babbling up a storm and is almost sitting. And drooling all over everything but no teeth yet. On another note, she has recently decided to go very long stretches in between poops - she went 5 whole days last week. Yes, I know this is normal but still makes this first time mama a little concerned. And she has also decided that she is a tummy sleeper - good because she sleeps SO much better this way, but bad because I get all freaked about her suffocating herself. (I'm somewhat of a worry wart). What is everyone else's 5 month old doing these days?

DD is teething and drooling like mad but no actual teeth yet. Unfortuneately she went from a spectacular 7 1/2 hours a night every night sleeper to doing a 4 -5 hour stretch then waking up every 45 min - 1 hour until morning for an all night nurse-a-thon. She's also doing that cute butt in the air/downward dog pose while she tries to figure out how to lift her midsection. She's taken to rolling back onto her back then lifting and throwing her butt and then pulling the rest of her over with her legs, and she's gotten surprisingly fast at it.
