What are your thoughts on these? Are they super important for children, or is it just a fad kind of thing? I heard it mentioned during a homeschooling group, and thought I would ask you wise mommas.
I think it is a beneficial thing to do! (it certainly does not hurt). I give DD Carlson Labs cod liver oil. I mix it with some applesauce or just in her water. I also give DD ground flax seed every day which has omega 3's.
I second the flax seeds! Also, hemp seeds are a great source. It is really easy to sprinkle some on top of foods...even desserts. It is pretty mild in flavor.
