HAs anyone tried "Welcome womb" herbs?

Hello. I have been doing some research on recurrent miscarriage because I just had my second miscarriage. It is likely that the cause of the miscarriages is the fact that I am 44 years old. I had my last baby nearly three years ago.

I've read so much about supplements etc, and am hoping my dr will run some tests, just to be sure it isn't"just age" related.

I came across a blog where a woman had had 6 miscarriages, then she used these herbs - "welcome womb" from WishGarden herbs, and carried her baby to term.

Has anyone tried them? Would they be worth trying? Could those herbs be problematic at all (wild yam root, black hawk bark and false unicorn root)?

I would love to hear from anyone who has tried them, or has any information about herbs and supplements that may help.

Thanks.smile.gif

I'm so sorry for your loss. I don't have any information about the herbs you mentioned, but my suggestion is to see someone that specializes in Traditional Chinese Medicine and fertility. I know they have many methods to "warm your womb" ect. Especially if you are concerned about some of the herbs being problematic. Best of luck to you!

Thank you for your reply.

I have been doing acupuncture for three years now. I think it helped me to fall pregnant three times, but unfortunately it hasn't helped with maintaining these last two pregnancies. Of course if it is a chromosomal issue, then nothing is going to help that (a better egg next time perhaps).

My acupuncturist is not a specialist in fertility, but I live in a small country city - in Australia and it is a 5 hour drive to see a fertility specialist in the city, so I have to go with what's available here, and I think she is very good. I have thought I might see if I can find a fertility specialist (TCM) and do a one off visit.

I'm yet to find out the pathology report from the miscarriage - that may help me decide what to do next.
