Thank you for the new thread. I am still seriously considering quitting, meaning it may be my last One thread, and I know I will miss it.

Think Fertile Thoughts!

Sila and BubbleMa, do you want to be moved to 2ww? I'm excited for both of you! I particularly enjoy the irony of eggs with a side of eggs ;)

Tantylynn, I drank soy while TTC my 1st and only later heard it was iffy. If I had to do it again I'd have gone with something else, though the particular brand of soy I drank was a perfect replacement for milk in recipies and I've never found anything to replace it. So, I'd be sad.

Gemmine, big hugs for a fertile new cycle.

Tenzinsmama, we've been TTC again since January, though I took a few months where I only tracked cycle length, eyed CM (but didn't chart it) and did nothing else. I freaked out to be back to the stress of TTC. I'm glad you (and probably most here) get why I didn't test again until 8w. I finally had a friend (who was pg, no less) threaten me with a 6am wake up call if I didn't call her first with test results. I sat in the bathroom for 20 minutes at 4am, staring at two lines and wondering why they made a mistake with printing on the HPT box. Didn't they know "not pregnant" was supposed to be one line??

AFM, I decided to test today at 11(ish) DPO, since I had (TMI!!) a raging YI come out of nowhere. I had a leftover fluconazole from a round of ABX and didn't want to take it unless I got a BFN, since it's an oral med. At 4 am the cat woke me and I decided to wait until 8:30 to POAS, since I was afraid staying up for 10 minutes would wake up DS2, who is a heat-seeking sleeper. Turns out that he was up for the day at 4:30! SO wasn't here last night, of course, and I had to stay awake and hold my pee until 8:30, until I could test. I'm pretty sure I have a lovely evap line. I guess tomorrow will tell, but I am too tired to be upset (which is a good thing, I think).

Stevi, I am sorry to see that you're contemplating being done. I understand, though. This cycle must have been a huge struggle for you.

Stevi, :(  Will you seek out other options, like adoption?  Whatever you choose, stick around MDC so we can keep up with you.  hug2.gif

Cygknit, thanks for the new thread!  You can move me to Waiting to Know!

stevi- if you do leave....at least come back with a pic of that BFP you get when you do. grouphug.gif

cygknit- i love evap lines, its silly i know....but i just always hope they turn into a real live BFP. so i have like...a day of happy. im ok with that. :) hope it gets darker!

afm- 6 dpo, and i got stung by a wasp on my eyelid. had to take banadryl so i would still be able to see. *sigh* looked up Benadryl and TTC on google.....try it. its fun!!!   (spoiler: some women swear by it during implantation so your body doesn't reject the egg)   at least im going with that.... cuz i dont have a choice.   also, got a nice little dip this morning....come on eggie stick!!!dust.gifbelly.gif

Thanks for the new thread. Stevi, I will miss you if you leave but I understand why. Will you post on other threads? Do you have a blog?

tantylynn and others: I use soy milk on my cereal everyday and I cook with it sometimes. The only thing against it I have read is that large quantities of soy can have a detrimental affect on fertility/pregnancy/fetus, etc. But large quantities = something like 60 grams from what I read and I don't even get close to that much soy a day.

cygknit: *hugs*

AFM: Just hanging around cramping waiting for AF!

Stevi - I hope you don't give up TTC because of this!

Personally I don't think soy is good for fertility. It interferes too much with your hormones which is the last thing we need. Also most of the soy food you can buy these days is made from genetically modified soy and is highly processed with tons of additives and other crap. Not what I would call a healthy food! I would recommend just drinking water and when you really need milk (for example on cereal) just use regular milk but make sure its organic because factory milk has a lot of hormone-altering garbage in it too!

AFM - just got back from Europe. I didn't temp the whole time I was gone because it was too complicated. I took another round of Clomid during that time, no side effects really except for hot flashes (those were fun on the 7-hour flight today... I was taking my sweater off and putting it back on every 5 minutes for the whole flight!) Anyways now I have to make a huge effort to stay awake until a reasonable hour (7pm sounds reasonable to me!) so I can get back on schedule with sleep and all, and hopefully start temping again in a couple of days.

Thanks for the new thread!!!

Stevi - grouphug.gif We will all miss you terribly! Either way I hope you find peace in your decision. How are you feeling otherwise?

BubbleMa - Hoping we will be cycle buddies!

cygknit - You can move me to Waiting to Know. For now I believe I have ovulated and I'm really hoping I won't have to ask to be moved right back.I'll be waiting to see what the next few days bring you! I hope YI clears up soon and that you are able to get some rest. My DS has been going through a wake up at 5am thing and it was really catching up to me! We finally slept in a little today.

Viv - Snuggle in tight little bean! I thought of you this week because I have never had such uncomfortable O pain like this before and I am pretty sure I dropped like 10 eggs too. And you made me realize I forgot to buy pineapple at the store! Tomorrow...

I don't use soy milk. Besides all of the controversy over soy, I discovered that I have a sensitivity to soy so I avoid it. I make my own nut/seed milks using a nut milk bag. It's super easy! I also like coconut milk and DH prefers store bought almond milk. I have been substituting nut milks in recipes for years and have never had a problem. Totally agree with everything Sourire said above truedat.gif We really just drink water. If I know we are going to be needing milk for something I just make a batch!

Mom2IrishBoys, oops I just realized i replied to you in the old thread...

Sila, those are good words to live by.  I'm glad that you were able to stop yourself in the spiral and could go on to have a better day.  It really is like a roller coaster, though, heh?  Sounds like your cycle is back on track pretty quickly, it sounds like you take such good care of yourself in so many ways.  I mean, you even make your own nutmilk?  Wow!  What does your little guy drink?

AFM, CD4 and getting my hopes back up each day...

CD11 here and nothing to report.  It will be at least another week until I O, ho hum. I've decided my thermometer might not be broken after all, so I think I'll take back the new one I bought and spend the money on $0.99 tests instead.

Everyone sounds a little down...big hugs all around. grouphug.gif

Sila and BubbleMa, you're moved. Good luck!

Viv, OUCH! I did some research on Benadryl when I was pg the first time, and was surprised it was so well received in research. I hope you feel better soon and that egg digs in.

DS2 ended up in the ER this afternoon for a (re)dislocated elbow. *sigh* It's an easy fix, but it's really uncomfortable for him. He pitched a fit on the stairs because he thought I wasn't coming with him, and SO had to grab his hand to keep him from falling. Pop! I POAS again because I'd really love a hard cider after this day, and it had been 4 hours since I'd been able to get to a bathroom. I got the same kind of line, which makes me think it's just the sensitivity of the test strip since I'm using a 10 mIU test instead of the 20s. Of all days! Hey, at least there's tomorrow.

Aw thanks! DS is vegan too. He gets green smoothies, fresh juiced greens/veggies/fruit, and nut milk, super foods, and a very varied plant-based diet. Now that we are done breastfeeding I do supplement vitamin K2(with D3) for his growing bones and teeth, and of course vitamin B12(Bcomplex). He is a healthy, bright, big boy!!!

Thanks for the new thread.

Stevi:  Sorry to hear that you maybe stopping but maybe it will only ned to be for a short time.

Sourie: Welcome back from Europe.  Did you have a good time?

Good Luck to everyone.

AFM: CD6 here and I have finally stopped spotting.  I have a job interview in Atlanta on Friday for a work from home position.  This will be really nice if I get it as the job I currently have will be ending sometime this year.  The company I work for was suppose to close June 30 but might now close the end of September.  No really sure as they are waiting for a decision to be made on the contract we lost.

Should I put you in "Waiting to Know?" Since that's 9-10 days from now, and some people have a LP that length or shorter, I want to be sure I put you in the right spot. Good luck!

yes sure i just want a buddy lol and have u ever had a burnin sensation right ovary and pink spotting but real light wen u wipe??

Stevi: Please don't leave for good! You were my rock last year when no one else around me would listen to ! You will be missed!

I've been mia for a week because of training the new girl at work and my much needed 5 day vacation started Friday afternoon! I started temping again this cycle and looks like I started temping just in time...just waiting on a few more temps to be sure. If someone else could look and see about how many more temps I will need to confirm O that would be great! I'm on my phone today so to get my chart u will have to go to my name at the list because I can't copy and paste on my phone lol.

Looks like I've missed a couple of BFPs lately so congrats to those who got them and good luck to those testing this week! I will probably try to not get my hopes up this month...but we have really good timing if these temps keep going up!!!

Stevi: I hope things start looking better for you soon, that's a lot to go through.

Sila: I'm not vegan, but recently discovered Green Smoothies and surprisingly love them!  I can't believe you can get your DS to drink them!!

AFM: Could I be moved to waiting to know?  FF says I’m 5 DPO, but of course I disagree J.  I think I o’ed on CD17 instead of CD 15 because on CD 15 and 16, I was up early tossing about and I’m pretty sure that made my temps high.  Plus I got two +OPKs on CD16 (AM + PM) and CD 17 (AM) and my CF was dry by CD 18.  Anyhow, opinions are always welcome!  I should know within the next few days if this cycle works out for me.  If I start spotting again (the week prior to AF), I'll go ahead and schedule the ultrasound my ob/gyn suggested and have my progesterone levels checked as well to see if there's something anatomically or physiologically causing my issues.
