Looking for midwife/doula and info around Springfield (Buffalo....an hour north), Missouri.

I am trying so hard not to stress out. We are pregnant after 9 1/2 years of trying and I've been so excited to FINALLY have my homebirth. The plan was that we were supposed to move to Arizona but I'm not sure that's going to happen in time. It might, but either way I need a back up plan. I am looking for a midwife around Buffalo, Springfield, Stockton.....somewhere around here. Also, can someone tell me the average cost for a midewife in SW Missouri? That is another concern because we were going to set the money aside when we sold the house. I'm not sure where it will come from if it doesn't sell.

I keep trying to tell myself that the baby is the important thing. I just REALLY don't want to give birth in a hospital again and I DON'T want a baby in this house. It's just not an ideal setting but we'll make due with whatever comes.

Congratulations, on your pregnancy!  I am in the process of moving there, so I can't help much, but my husband knows of one.  He keeps trying to tell me about it, but I haven't been listening, since I just had a baby and am not in need of one.  I will ask him if no one else has anything to offer.
