i think it would be hard to live in this culture and not have at least a mild thyroid imbalance.  however, for me I am pretty positive it's as simple as iron deficiency anemia because i've had two pregnancies close together and with the last one there was quite a bit of blood loss during third stage and I just haven't felt as if I've ever fully recovered my energy from that pregnancy/birth and then I got pregnant again about a year later.

You may also want to try increasing your vitamin C as vitamin C aids in the absorption of iron. :-)

Congratulations on your pregnancy!

Indignantgirl, you are right, Floradix is essentially a liquid iron pill. However, as a PP noted it is ferrous gluconate which is easier to absorb and doesn't constipate in the same way. Also, the amount of iron in the supplement is quite small - 15 mg in the regular dose. That could have something to do with its gentleness on the body. The B vitamins are also helpful for blood building. I haven't taken it the whole pregnancy, just when I felt I needed it and then when I found I was a bit anemic. If I thought I was getting enough iron from my diet I probably wouldn't take it, but I know that I'm not. I'm not sure if the energy boost I feel when taking it comes just from the iron or also from the herbs - because I believe the herbs have an effect beyond the merely nutritional as well.
