Ok, my house is clean, I bought a ton of groceries, my bags are packed, all the baby stuff is ready......let's go!

I'm hoping that tomorrow the midwives will tell me that I very effaced & maybe even dilated.  If they strip my membranes, I could have a baby in a couple of days.  I was overdue 18 days with DS & had an Emer C/S & I definitely don't want it to happen again!  Never got effaced or dilated with DS though.

I know the feeling. We too just bought a bunch of Food and the house is Clean (Enough) and I feel like we are just sitting waiting now. NOW would be GOOD!

Today is D Day & I saw my MW.  She checked me & said I was about 25-50% effaced (probably more towards 50), no dilation so she couldn't give me a better # & also no membrane stripping.  Plus I made my 41 week US appt, which left me feeling dejected.  I was 18 days overdue with DS & ended up with an Emer C/S after induction failed.  

I've had a lot of cramping & wish I was farther along than this.  I so do not want to be overdue again & end up with another C/S.

I know I still have plenty of time & can do lots of stuff, EPO, homeopathy, SpinningBabies exercises, etc.

Efface, open, efface, open.....

I keep trying to tell myself this, but it sure does feel like I will be! UGH! And here in Dallas, Texas, we've just had our 11th 100-plus degree day in a row and our 17th so far this summer.

Today @41 weeks we went out for breakfast and the waitress cornered me in the bathroom, When are you due? I tried to explain "a week ago" and her eyes bugged out and she goes, OH MY GOD ARE YOU OK? Once she figured out I was chill she goes, Oh well ya look great :)

Actually I feel pretty chill still being pregnant, it's just everyone else asking all the time. No one says "Hi" anymore then they call or email... it's just "baby????"

Guatemama I wish I could be a chilll as you.  I haven't even reached my due date yet and I'm going nuts!!  Every single day I think it's going to be the day and it isn't and I just get crankier and more uncomfortable.  grrrr.

I bought castor oil last night but chickened out.  I haven't been sleeping great the last few nights so I went for a walk at about 4 this morning and then another walk mid-day hoping to stir something up.  I lost my mucus plug after that walk.  But I know that could mean anything from now to a few weeks so I'm not holding my breath.  I did have acupuncture this afternoon so hopefully all of these things will make something happen.  I can't wait any longer!!!!

I get this too and I'm not even "due" until Sunday!  All day I get emails/chats/texts saying "How do you feel?"  funny.

mugglesmom - Me too!  I am so totally ready and think that any day could be the day even though it could just as easily *not* be the day.  I mostly just want him out so I don't have to go back to work next week, I'm on vacation this week, but I'm ready too.  I've crossed the threshold of being slightly anxious about the birth to being 100% ready.

I feel like I'm going to freak if anyone asks when I'm due.  I know everyone is just curious & excited, but I just want to hide until the baby comes.

I wish I could get out & walk but it's so freakin' hot.  Guess I'll use my balance ball to try to get this baby to drop a little.
