Selling a birth pool?

Thread Starter

Just wondering what the chances are of finding a buyer for my birth pool.  Is this even something people would buy second hand?  It's a La Bassine and it was used once.  Where would I even try to sell something like this?  Here?  Ebay?  Craigslist?  Also, what would be a reasonable asking price?  Thanks!

I've purchased one on Craigslist before for $70. Craigslist is usually local buyers so you don't have to worry about shipping. If you lived in Arizona, I'd be interested. As a doula, I like to offer the service of renting them to clients who don't want to purchase one.

As long as you put in the description that the buyer can buy a liner...and it wont be unsanitary. I don't see why not!

Hi C.Arden,

We're just starting to look for a birth pool. La Bassine and Birth Pool in a Box seem like good choices.

How did you like the Bassine?

How was the size?

And...

...What would you sell it for?

Best,
